The Lancaster Bulldogs started in 2008 taking over from the Lancashire Bulldogs which was a very successful club playing in the GBWBA league.
The Lancaster Bulldogs begun training in 2008 and have been building up the club both on and off the court to enable the team to begin playing in the development league, which they did last season 2011/2012, and the Bulldogs exceeded all expectations and came second, only loosing one game in the season.
With this success the Bulldogs will begin next season in Division 2 of the GBWBA. The Bulldogs are a very friendly club and welcome any new members with all kinds of abilities. The Bulldogs seniors train on a Friday at Salt Ayre Sports Centre from 730pm till 9:30pm.The Juniors and intermediates train on a sunday starting the 18th September 2016 from 930am-1230. This is based at Salt Ayre Sports Centre. All equipment is provided and all coaches are level 2 qualified.The cost is £5 per session The Bulldogs are a self funding team and often organise fundraising events to help the Bulldogs continue with training and game costs.
